3 Let’s learn the Basics of Notes
Each note on sheet music represents a beat to the song. First we must find out what the count of each note is…

4 Basics This is an 1/4 note or Quarter Note For each Quarter Note= 1 Beat

5 Basics This is Half Note Each Half note = 2 Beats
This is a Whole Note Each Whole note= 4 Beats

6 What We Have Learned Together
I Have 4 Beats and called Whole Note I have 1 Beat and called Quarter Note I have 2 Beats and called Half Note

7 How To Know What The Note Is?
This the staff for which the notes we learned before set on to create music. The next slide we will learn what the line ans spaces mean.

8 What dose lines Mean? Each line represents a different note:
Every = E note Good= G note Boy= B note Dose= D note Fine= F Note

9 What dose spaces mean? Each Space Represents another set of notes:
F= F note A= A note C= C note E= E note
