The establishment of a strategy on mental health at EU-level would add value by: Creating a framework for exchange and Cooperation between Member States Helping to increase the coherence of actions in different policy sectors To open up a platform for involving stakeholders including patient and civil society organizations into building solutions EU Mental Health Strategy

Proposals For European Planning 2013 – 20 A exploration of the various models of treatment across a section of EU countries. Research investigating diagnosis specific treatment models that have proved to be effective taking into account patient experience, carers and professionals. Exploring the development of an integrative approach towards the treatment of mental health and other associated disorders in which social and health care models can be integrated in more efficiently.
