Muesli breakfast notes Slide 12 This will be helping to reduce the risk of cancer because 1. Eating breakfast reduces the need for big meals later in the day and raises your metabolic rate – gives you more energy. 2. It is also a slow release carbohydrate meal so it will last you the morning there are no peaks and troughs in energy levels and therefore it keeps insulin levels more stable.
