Cold War Entering the Cold War the United States held the ultimate advantage of being the only nation in the world to posses a nuclear weapon. Stalin knew no matter how many millions of Russians he had, one bomb could undo all of it. It was not until 1949 that the Soviets would have their own bomb, and an arms race ensued.

Relay for life of Saint Lucie West Friday May 16, 2014 6:00 p.m. – Saturday May 17, 8 a.m. All are welcome to attend the event. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a wristband to remain at the event later than 10 p.m. We are limited to 10 young adults per registered Adult Chaperone. Those on the team are to the front of the line, all other are first come first serve. See Mr. Tredor during your lunch period to get a permission slip.

300 Club Be part of our new community service club, the 300 Club! The next meeting will take place Thursday in Ms Langel’s room…Be a part of something special and bring your ideas! Remember, students are required to do at least 75 community service hours in order to graduate high school. So get involved now! Dress Code Students are required to wear “Dockers-Style” Pants or Shorts. NOT Spandex or Leggings or Tights or Yoga Pants or Sweats, Etc. Shorts and skirts are required to be at least finger-tip length. If violations continue, students will be required to buy pants from a specific vendor (as we do with tops) next year. Students are asking to switch over to jeans next year, but that will not be considered unless things improve NOW. ONLY school hoodies are allowed.
