POPIN Objectives n To increase worldwide access to population and reproductive health information and data from developed and developing countries n To facilitate use of information technologies by developing country population institutions in support of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD)

Using Information Technologies to Empower Institutions in Developing Countries n Helping to build local information infrastructures - Use of local technical assistance and local website hosting n Promoting local agendas and electronic publication n Building national, regional and global databanks of population information resources; A global population information knowledge base in support of development and accessible to all.
