How does information become store in LTM ?
Encoding : the process of acquiring information and transferring it into memory Coding : the form with which information is represented Retrieval : the process of transferring information from LTM back into working memory

Of course, the fellow could shout, but the human voice is not loud enough to carry that far. An additional problem is that the string could break on the instrument. Then there would be no accompaniment to the message. It is clear that the best situation would involves less distance. Then there would be fewer potential problems. With face to face contact, the least number of things could go wrong.
