4 Electronic government A Departmental subject that every student in the University of Zaragoza can choose it to complete the credits they need to finish their degree In the practice, only Law students have chosen it It has been taught the second semester of the course 2005-06 LEFIS Undergraduate studies Oslo, 19 th -20 th May 2006

5 Electronic government Objectives To know the state of development of the provision of administrative services with the aid of the information and communication technologies (ICT): "electronic government" To classify the electronic government services from different approaches To know the basic principles of the normative that governs the use of the ICT in the relationships with the electronic government To know the main parameters that impact in the electronic government's development To understand the basic architecture of an electronic government service To analyze and to evaluate the implementation of an electronic government service LEFIS Undergraduate studies Oslo, 19 th -20 th May 2006

Documenting the environment and the socio-political and juridical frames. Analysis and evaluation of the portals and services. Case study 4.- Normative aspects: basic principles From the privacy to the computer specialist activities. Computer specialist activities. Security measures and data protection. 8 Electronic government Evaluation 1.-Students must do a written exam and a practical work 2.-The grade is between 1 and 10, passing who obtains five points at least 3.-The grade is the average of the written exam, the oral presentation of the practice and the written work on the practice, being indispensable to pass the written exam 4.-The written exam consists on two questions about the program 5.-The practical work consists on the evaluation of an electronic government website 6.-The maximum extension of the written work on the practice is 5000 words LEFIS Undergraduate studies Oslo, 19 th -20 th May 2006

11 Ethics and legislation for engineers A non-technical optional subject in the degree studies of Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Industrial Engineering at the Higher Engineering School of Zaragoza It has been taught the last ten academic courses LEFIS Undergraduate studies Oslo, 19 th -20 th May 2006
