Welcome to Workforce Solutions We have computers, fax machines, telephones, and internet access to help you conduct your job search. We also have workshops that are available to you such as résumé writing, interviewing, and many others – see our office calendar for details.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) By applying for SNAP benefit assistance, you agreed to look for work. Workforce Solutions will support you in your job search by: referring you to jobs helping you with your resume and interviews offering advice on looking for work

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) If you are single and have no children and have not found a job 4 weeks from today, you must work in a community service job to earn your SNAP benefits. With community service you will also develop or sharpen your job skills and be better prepared for finding a job.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) If you are between 16 and 60 years old, have dependents, you may want to gain work experience by participating in an unpaid community service job. Let us know if you would like to do that.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) In order to continue to receive your SNAP benefits you must: 1. Look for work and keep a paper record of all the activities you participate in. 2. Participate in the activities arranged by Workforce Solutions for ___hours a week and report your participation hours weekly. 3. Accept Workforce Solutions job referrals.

SNAP benefit Employment & Training 4. Accept a reasonable job offer and do your best to keep the job. 5. Keep in touch with us on a regular basis and attend all scheduled appointments. 6. If you do not meet your work requirements and report your participation to Workforce Solutions, you will lose your SNAP benefits.

How to Report Your Job Search Write down all your job contacts on Workforce Solutions job search log that we give you. For each day, count the number of hours you spend, looking for jobs and preparing for work. Total the hours spent each day and write these in the hours column on your job search log.

How to Report Your Job Search Instructions for how to count hours for your job search are included in your orientation folder. Total the time you spend looking for work and write the time in the hours column of the job search log. Report all time to the nearest hour. Turn in a completed job search log to us every week.
