4. Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina) Found July 27 on Hancock Rd.- south of Black Creek Bridge –was moved by me to the ditch to which it was aiming to go; there was no time to take details of site. It was very heavy, approximately 20 long. When I returned to site to take photos, it was hiding n reeds trail reeds No. 2

5. Wood turtle found dead at the same spot – near the Black Creek, on Hancock Rd., Courtce, last year, July 2008 and moved to the ditch by me. When I have returned to site to collect remains, there was nothing left. It was strange death –beheading and limb injury caused by what? No.3 It makes me sick to find these and other creatures dead on my way home. There is a lot of empty talk on preservation, conservation and rehabilitation, but in reality nothing is being done. On the contrary, more plans for destruction of nature are planned. This is just turtle story, not to mention other wildlife.
