ACADEMY OF MEDICAL EDUCATORS The Academy of Medical Educators (AME) was established by the College of Medicine in June 2012 to provide a forum for training and mentoring of teachers and for recognition of exemplary faculty.

PURPOSE 1. Promote excellence 2. Support development of faculty educators 3. Establish proficiency in teaching and provide guidance to improve quality and effectiveness. 4. Advance scholarly activity in education 5. Sponsor relevant activities to enhance medical education and faculty development
