2.  Ferdinand`s exploration took place from 1519-1522. He was born in north Portugal from 1480-1521. King Charles V funded the exploration. Magellan proposed the voyage to the Spice islands. His goal was to go to the Spice islands which is rich with spices and bring the spices back to there country.

3.  He achieved a great goal he went around the world. He went through the oceans. The natives he saw were the Africans, Asians and the Portuguese lived there before Magellan's ships. He died on the trip in 1521. His crew though brought back the spices to Spain. They stayed away from the Portuguese in the process.

4.  His journey took him around the world. He went around the whole circumference of the world. He past every continent.

5.  I learned he traveled around the world and helped Spain. I found that he is interesting because he took three huge ships to get spices. Also that he fought against his own country. He has a bunch of things named after him a woodpecker, penguin, cloud, telescope, railcar, and asteroid

7. . Other facts about him are he commanded the ship the Trinidad. Walked with a limp. Ate sawdust and rats to survive. Spanish did not trust him because he was Portuguese. The king of Portugal tried to stop him but failed.
