Requires strengthening of outreach activities & development of performance indicators

GEO Portal An excellent tool to serve human, institutional and infrastructure CB activities in all SBAs Top-level CB “requirements” are being drafted to enable access to: –EO education, training and software resources –Info on CB standards and best practise –CB co-ordination networks and expertise –Means to identify needs and match them to available funding –CB outreach materials, etc CBC task liaison: Gordan Bridge (EUMETSAT)

10. GEONETCast An example of infrastructure and human capacity building; need for institutional CB? Can the CBC assist the ADC with GEONETCast? e.g. –Identifying CB needs of GEONETCast users –Finding donors for infrastructure provision and training –Provision of open source software and open courseware for dissemination –Etc…
