Entered academia in 2005 - Spent 27 years in industry at: Allen- Bradley, Cutler-Hammer, Square D, A.O. Smith, and Eaton Corp. Conducted electronic hardware and software design and product quality assurance, and supervised electronic manufacturing. Managed research and development groups, and facilitated new product and technology development in U.S., England, and Germany. Holds seven U.S. patents and one European patent. Systems are sensitive to native language of speakers. Poznan researchers desire to expand speaker database to more native languages. Marquette University has access to native Spanish speakers. Marquette University has a speech recording laboratory. Recordings are being sent to Poznan via ftp.
