2 types of Immunity Innate Immunity Innate Immunity –More generalized –Can tell if bacteria or virus –Response is quick –Said to be “immune” –No signs or symptoms Adaptive Immunity Adaptive Immunity –Very specific –Which types of bacteria or viruses –Takes days to respond –May feel signs and symptoms of being sick –From this we develop “immunological memory” *Even though they are 2 types they are fully intergraded in the body
