2 What can you tell by looking at a food label? Known as Biomolecules

3 Most matter in your body that is not water is made of organic compounds. Without these compounds, cells could not function. Organic compounds contain carbon atoms. Four principal classes of organic compounds are found in living things:

5  Break up into groups.  Each group member will be assigned a biomolecule to research.

6  Like molecules will be given 10 minutes to research and complete their portion of the of the biomolecules chart.

7  We will then come back together and report our findings to our group and complete the chart.
