9 Tips to budget your college costs Look for the “best buys”, i.e univ’s that offers a quality education at a reasonable costs. Consider Public Universities. Earn Transfer Credit. A.P exams etc. Study in the Midwest &/or in a rural part where living costs are significantly lower.
