2. TeamViewer is an easy and friendly way for desktop sharing

3. You can control a partner’s desktop to give assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer or client.

4. Who uses it? TeamViewer can be used by anyone since its very user friendly, however it is mostly used by IT departments in companies to help other workers in the company with with their computer problems.

5. TeamViewer has its advantages and disadvantages but the advantages outweigh its disadvantages.

6. The Advantages: 1-Unlike other remote control programs,TeamViewer doesn’t need specific information like IP addresses.

7. 2- Can be used to transfer files between computers. 3-Has voice and video chat (just like MSN or Skype).

8. 4-You can create contact lists on it which lets you know who is online. 5-user friendly.

9. 6-saves a lot of time. 7- Can be used for presentations.

10. 8-It is FREE. 9-it can connect two computers from different parts of the world.

11. 10-Has a generated password.

12. The disadvantages: 1-It Needs an internet connection to work and will work better depending on your internet speed so if you have slow internet then it will affect the way TeamViewer works.

13. 2- High resolution applications like videos or movies will not appear clearly.

14. 3- When you update to a newer version of TeamViewer it doesn’t delete the older version automatically so you will have to do it manually.

15. NOTE: If you want to connect to a computer without a user then you will need to set a permanent password. For Example: if I was on my laptop in my room and I wanted to control the desktop computer in the living room, all I have to do is disable the Generated password on the desktop and make a permanent one. The only downside to this is that TeamViewer will have to be opened on the computer you wish to control so it might be tricky to control a computer if you aren’t near it and you forgot to keep the program opened before you left. How To Set Your Password: Extras  Options  Security Tab  Change the windows logon to “ Allowed for all users”  Change the password strength to “Disabled”  Click Ok After you have done that connect the two computers and you will see that they ask you for a password. That password is going to be the one you chose as you were downloading the program so just type it in and you’re good to go
