Project Implemantation Implemented tasks : Collection of infrastructure needs from WBC Homepage management A leaflet (letter of the Slovenian Minister) and WBC needs list Communicating information about the Award and research infrastructure needs to potential donors with cooperation of the science and research ministries from EU and EFTA countries (200 letters and e-mails has been also sent to international organizations, business associations, EU and Slovenian companies) Presentation at the Research Working Party on 31. March 2008

3. Donations - Current Status I. MHEST received list of equipment from JRC and from Slovenian company Sava. None of two donators complete an online form as an application for award (completed by donor and receiver). Beside 2 donations also Microsoft supports action with proposal that this initiative get a long-term perspective and trying to assure Microsoft computer software and establish cooperation with other hard ware companies.

Conclusions of the meeting on the results of the proposal within the frame of the SEE-ERA.NET: "SEE-ERA.NET AWARD FOR DONATIONS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF RTDI COLLABORATION WITH WESTERN BALKAN COUNTRIES Bad-Neuenahr, 29 May, 2008, members of the Noordung Potočnik Committee decided to: further support the initiative with its prolongation till 30 November 2008 to award both donors on 13th of June with a special gifts

Ongoing tasks and further steps: New leaflet, special designed for the potentional doners from private sector Updating the homepage Communicating information about the Award and research infrastructure needs to potential donors, especially to the private sector in EU countries Organising the meeting of the award selection committee (if needed)
