A recognised BTEC Level 3 Hospitality course will enable you to understand the size and scale of the current hospitality industry, explore and understand event management in the hospitality sector and ensure that you understand the impact of the hospitality industry on the environment and can take measures to reduce that impact. When you graduate from the BTEC Hospitality course you will have a recognised qualification. You will learn the skills that make for successful hospitality management in accommodation, food and beverage areas, such as staff recruitment and development, operational planning and organisation, and financial management and marketing. Your hospitality management training will also take you into the background of the hospitality industry. You will study legal and statutory requirements. There are three mandatory units in this course. Passing these units will allow you to gain a BTEC Certificate in Hospitality. Introduction

Entry Requirements To enrol in the BTEC Hospitality course, you must be aged over 16 and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy supported by a general education. Although not mandatory, some experience in the hospitality sector would be beneficial.

What will I gain? On completion of the BTEC Hospitality course, you'll receive the BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Hospitality.
