5. Analysis To get an A* you need to do the following: 1. Explain all the connotations of the image and the key words in the quote 2. Explain what this shows about how the poet might feel 3. Explain what this shows about his/her personality 4. Explain what this shows about the relationship 5. Make a link to the key themes

6. Task One Using the online dictionary I want you to use the online dictionary and write down all the potential meanings of some of the key words.

7. Task Two I want you to pick one image or line from a poem and write one paragraph answering the following question: How does the poet use language to show how they feel?
