4 How will judgements be made about my child`s performance? All children at the end of Year Two are formally assessed to show how they are performing in relation to the national expectations for children of that age. 14 How you can help Try not to over emphasise the assessments. We do not refer to them as tests and would prefer if you did not – your stress will rub off on the children.
