A. GasparianCal. Workshop, Oct. 31, 200810 Summary Based on these crystal modules a high resolution Hybrid Electromagnetic calorimeter (HyCal) has been designed, developed and constructed with the 1118 x 118 cm 2 size. The expertise and accumulated experience of the PrimEx collaboration can be used to construct a larger size crystal calorimeter to be used in different 12 GeV leading experiments. The PrimEx collaboration in the past eight years has been developed and constructed 1250 PbWO4 high resolution crystal shower detector modules. The HyCal undergone successful tests in the PrimEx experiment with high intensity photon beam passing the central 4x4 cm 2 hole during three months of radiation.
