Executive Assistant Quick Guide

Search The Search drop-down list enables you to search for a previously-searched user or contact directly, or specify an adhoc user/contact query. Enter group information into the box. 3-Way Conference Initiate a 3-way conference by clicking the toggle button. The 3-Way Conference toggle button is enabled when the currently logged in user has exactly 2 calls in either active or held states. Starting Conference: Press the button to begin the conference. Ending Conference: Press the depressed button to end the conference. Dial a New Number Enter the number into the box and press ENTER to place call Auto Portal Login By pressing the Portal Login button on the toolbar you can automatically log into the CommPilot Web Portal. Remote Office This feature allows the use of another phone instead of the normal business phone. Click to setup the feature CommPilot Express CommPilot Express allows you to configure up to four Profiles to control inbound calls. Click to setup the feature Call Forwarding Always This option forwards all incoming calls to a specified phone number. Click to setup feature Call Forwarding No Answer This option enables forwarding of all incoming calls to a specified phone number when your phone is not answered after the selected number of rings occur. Click to setup feature Call Forwarding Busy This option enables forwarding of all incoming calls to a specified phone number when all the lines on the phone are in use. Click to setup feature Do Not Disturb This feature allows all incoming calls to be forwarded to a voice messaging service, and notification of the user when this occurs. Click to setup feature Speed Dial Directory Click on the button on the toolbar to access Speed Dial directories Call History To review missed calls, dialed calls and received calls, click the button in the toolbar. Personal Directory The Personal Directory is for storing personal contact information. Access this directory by selecting the button in the toolbar. Services Advanced features such as Voice Messaging, CommPilot, Call Control and Voice Management can be controlled by clicking the button Group Directory The Group Directory lists contacts in your groups. Click the button in the toolbar to access list. Answering a Call Executive Assistant displays a call notification window on top of the system tray when you receive a call. You can answer this call either by picking up your handset or by clicking on the popup notification. You can also click the button from the toolbar to answer a call. Transfer to Voice Mail When you receive a call, a notification will appear above the system tray. Click the icon in the top left corner of the popup notification Ending a Call Incoming and outgoing calls can be terminated through the Executive Assistant by clicking on the icon in the top right of the popup notification. You can also click the button from the toolbar to end a call. Voice Management Voice Management allows users to specify how voice messages are handled. Settings found by clicking the button Dialing from a Web Page Highlight a phone number displayed on a webpage. Right click and select ‘Dial’ to call that number. Executive Assistant Quick Guide to complete the transfer. You can also click the button from the toolbar to transfer a call to voicemail. Transfer a Call Transfer a call by clicking during a call.
