3 Grading Policy: Formative Assessments: 20% (homework, exit tickets, guided practice, warm-ups, etc.) Interim Assessments: 35% (quizzzes, mini-projects, individual journal entries, etc.) Summative Assessments: 45% ( Tests, major projects, journal entries (by chapter), etc.) Homework Policy: During the 1 st marking period, if a homework assignment is not turned in on time, it can be turned in the next day for 50% credit. After the 2 nd day late it will be a zero. Starting in the 2 nd marking period, homework that is not done on the day it is due will be a zero.
