Science Fair As stated in the MPS course catalog, students in this class are required to complete a science investigation for the Mesa Public Schools Science and Engineering Fair held on February 19, 2015 at Red Mountain High School in Mesa. Winners at the district level may advance to the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair held in April 2015 in Phoenix. More information will be made available in October.

Interactive Notebooks Help students with organization Students take ownership of their work Students can develop ‘knowledge over time’ and reflect on their own learning When it comes time to review for a test, students have a chronological record of their work all in one place

What Can You Do? Check the MyMPS Parent Portal for access to your student’s grades, attendance record, teacher comments, and more! Check your student’s science composition notebook pages regularly (a stamp means it was done completely and on time).
