To measure energy various Utilities still uses Electro mechanical meters and low cost digital meters with accuracy class is 1.0 above.
Line loss rate is estimated to be much beyond 20% due to tampering.
Readings of the meter is done manually that leads to obvious error and wastage of time and resource.
It is difficult to make exact load consumption analysis.

Highly depends on other mobile network.
Accessibility of Mobile network in remote areas is not available.
In many cases manual reading is also not feasible.
Billing cycle requires excessive time.
System Maintenance is very expensive.

Using this technique of communication the data can be transferred over the existing LT Power lines.

Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) with inbuilt PLCC Modem for communication with Meters & GSM /GPRS/ PSTN Modem communicating with the central station.
Base Computer software (BCS) installed at Master Station Server with GSM/GPRS/ PSTN Modem.
