4. III. What Does the Bible Say about Jesus?
He is the Alpha and Omega
God declares Himself the Alpha and Omega (Isa. 44:6)
Jesus declares Himself as the Alpha & Omega
(Rev. 1:8)
(Rev. 22:13)

5. Bible Presents Jesus as Jehovah
Isaiah saw God in all of His glory
(Isaiah 6:1-5)
John says that Isaiah saw Jesus

6. Father called Jesus God

7. Jesus is the Creator God

8. God alone is worthy of worship

9. Christ’s Name Declares Him as God
(Isaiah 9:6) “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us: and the government will rest on His shoulders: and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace”
(Matt. 1:23) “…They shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means “God with us”

10. Jesus Performed Acts of God
Bible says that only God can forgive sins
(Mark 2:7) “Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming. Who can forgive sins but God alone”
Jesus forgave sins
(Mark 2:5) “Jesus…said to the paralytic, “My son, your sins are forgiven”

11. Jesus Controlled Nature
(Matt. 8:26) “….then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea: and it became perfectly calm. And the men marveled saying “What kind of a man is this that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

12. Jesus Gives Eternal Life
(John 10:28) “…and I give eternal life to them and they shall never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand…”

13. Jesus Will Judge the World

Christ’s birth, death and resurrection are the center point of history
It is not narrow mindedness to save others
What God did to save us in not narrow minded
That baby is the King and Judge of the universe
(Heb. 10:26-31)
We must experience salvation to offer it.
