2. 2 Course Objectives To teach students at an upper intermediate level to have meaningful conversations on a wide variety of topics and to broaden their vocabulary. At the end of the course, the students will be able to speak with greater fluency and confidence.

3. 3 Course Teaching Methods The students will engage in pair and small group work. When suitable, they will do role-play to demonstrate their mastery of studied items and topics.
