Participation and structure of the workshop Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia. Similar structure RW1 to RW2 (Athens) workshop but more focus on:  Promotion and training,  Metadata,  Trans-national access.

Impact on post-workshop activities in participating countries - general conclusions (1) RW1 beneficial for most participants, improvements in many countries, Improvements stronger in countries:  Limited cooperation before (so there was scope for improvement),  A well-established, functioning DA already existed (as absence of a DA was a major obstacle in other countries), Cooperation - both NSI and DA are happy:  NSIs more satisfied than DA,  NSIs often overestimate the scope of cooperation and the range of activities.

5. Impact on post-workshop activities in participating countries - general conclusions (2) DwB and particularly RW1 are seen as a major facilitator for relationships to develop!

6. Impact on post-workshop activities in participating countries - good practices (1) Bosnia DA staff understands the significance and value of cooperation with NSI. This is now part of their future DA strategy. Croatia Importance of institutional foundation. Czech Republic Focus on formats, technical solutions and legal aspects, Framework agreement.

7. Impact on post-workshop activities in participating countries - good practices (2) Hungary Further improvement: Common data access procedures, Transfer of DA knowledge and experience with DDI, DA provides feedback on new procedures of NSI's data access. Kosovo Cooperation for accreditation.

8. Impact on post-workshop activities in participating countries - good practices (3) Lithuania Memorandum of cooperation enabling DA to conduct training in use of NSI data for students and researchers, Publication of NSI micro data via DA’s platform, Joint work to develop data publication infrastructure.
