2. Short description of the project or technology Photo / drawing/ illustration A project funded by the EU’s FP7 dedicated to: STI Policy Dialogue and identification of priorities of mutual interest between EU and Central Asia - Kazakhstan in particular

Applicability of the project in Kazakhstan Field:Policy dialogue among stakeholders from EU Member States and Kazakhstan Innovative aspect: Evidence based approach for feeding the policy dialogue (Policy Mix Reviews; addressing the whole STI chain; sharing best practices among the participating countries, etc.) Kazakhstan will benefit from state-of-the art competences and approaches in shaping its National STI policy in a mutually beneficial way. The action is addressed to the National STI authorities in Kazakhstan and to the academic and private sectors. A new project (2013 – 2016) will ensure the continuation of the initiative for further strengthening the STI cooperation between EU and Kazakhstan.
