1. Directions for Group Mental Jousting 1. Pick half of the people in your group to be the agreers and half to be the disagreers. 2. The agreers need to agree with every statement, while the disagreers need to disagree with every statement. 3. For each statement, spend the first two minutes debating in your assigned roles. 4. For last two minutes, you may continue debating this way, or you may debate how you genuinely think about the statement. 5. Be sure to time yourself so that you spend roughly 4 minutes on each statement. If youre finishing early, you need to push yourselves much harder.
