In High School Apply to a college or university Take the SAT or ACT – must score no less than the mean for the state of Texas: SAT in 2013: 1437 ACT in 2013: 20.9 Apply for Financial Aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Must qualify for a Pell Grants or Have an Estimate Family Contribution (EFC) rating of $8000.00 or less Qualifications for JAMP
