Example 1 of Historical Fiction The book “The education of Little Tree” talks about the Indians being treated unfair like when they was at the meeting with the big city guy and he shook everyone's hand except theirs because they was Indian but some parts in this book was not true like this one though they did have some events in this book that did happen like the boarding school that little Tree went to because they said his grandparents were unfit to keep him.

Example 2 of Historical Fiction There was also the book called Bud, not buddy which took place in the Great Depression and when Bud and Bugs went on the train heading to Chicago looking for a places named Hooverville they realized that there was Hoovervilles all over the world due to president Hoover and that really did happen though some of the characters in this book was not real.

5. WhyHistorical Fiction is important? Why Historical Fiction is important? Historical Fiction can teach you about the past and why you are here today. Most older people who read history books get more of a nonfiction book that doesn't have humor or drama, it just gives you facts. Though historical fiction is teaching you about the past but can focus on one person but also tell things that are happening all around them and how it was living through the event and it is more entertaining. Also historical fiction can make you a better reader like the way they talk in the book and make you pay attention to the book because there are words in the book that you are unfamiliar with. Historical fiction can also help if your doing a project on lets say India and you choose a book like homeless bird then you get facts and entertainment also you can get it from a woman's perspective and opinion.
