4 HIPs and faculty Faculty of color and women faculty, in particular, rate HIPs as important or very important. Would increasing the emphasis on HIPs – or offering resources to help faculty deliver HIPs more effectively or efficiently – improve recruitment and retention among faculty committed to HIPs?
