5 Screen shots  Very useful for capturing images from your computer screen  In PC:  Press the Print Screen key.  Windows saves the image to the Clipboard.  Open Windows Paint and choose Edit/Paste. Paint may ask if you want the bitmap enlarged. If so, answer "yes." The screen shot will appear. Save and insert.  In Mac:  Hold down: ‘Command’ + ‘Shift’ + 4  Cursor becomes a selection tool; select the part of the screen that you want and release the three keys.  Your image file will be saved on the desktop. When clicked, PowerPoint will send you to the page on your web browser.  In theory, you can insert a hyperlink to a file on your computer (e.g., Word document, movie file, audio file). 12 Add an audio soundtrack  You can add an audio soundtrack to your PowerPoint presentation (must be.mp3).  Songs in iTunes are typically.m4a format (incompatible with PowerPoint).  You cannot convert.m4a to.mp3 in Audacity (unfortunately).  Solution: when you import songs from a CD into iTunes, you can choose to import them as MP3 files (or create MP3 version).  You can add an audio soundtrack to your PowerPoint presentation (must be.mp3).  Songs in iTunes are typically.m4a format (incompatible with PowerPoint).  You cannot convert.m4a to.mp3 in Audacity (unfortunately).  Solution: when you import songs from a CD into iTunes, you can choose to import them as MP3 files (or create MP3 version).
