What surprises you or is interesting about this interview? Has there ever been a time when your parents disappointed you? What are some ways someone could connect to this interview? Who’s the audience?

Stating who made the quote or gave the information Always say who is speaking

A quote seldom shows the news value of a story Make sure that the quote is accurate even if it means asking them to repeat themselves

Tag, colon, quotes, caps. Comma, quotes, tag, period.

When you introduce a new speaker, state the name before the quote so you don’t confuse the readers.
