2 Activating your Campus Id  Upon receiving your conditional acceptance into your desired Georgia ONmyLINE program, students will need to activate their campus id. Your campus id is your first initial with your last name and any proceeding numeral. For example, if your student email address is jdoe12@student.gsu.edu, your campus id would be jdoe12. To activate your campus id, please go to the following page: https://campusid.gsu.edu/form_activate1.cfmjdoe12@student.gsu.eduhttps://campusid.gsu.edu/form_activate1.cfm  You will be prompted to set up security questions and set your password that will be used to access your GoSolar and Georgia Vista accounts.

3 What is GoSolar GoSolar is the University site where students register, check the status of your Financial Aid and their academic progress. To access GoSolar, click on the link below and login using your campus id and your password created during the campus id activation. https://www.gosolar.gsu.edu/webforstudent.htm https://www.gosolar.gsu.edu/webforstudent.htm Students will register using GoSolar. Step-by-step instructions are published on our College of Education/Online Education website: http://education.gsu.edu/main/141.html http://education.gsu.edu/main/141.html

4 What is Georgia Vista? Georgia Vista is where Georgia ONmyLINE students access their GOML classes once they have registered. Only GOML students are permitted to take GOML classes. GOML students are not permitted to take non-GOML classes. To access Georgia Vista, click on the following link: http://goml.view.usg.edu Username: campus id @gsu Password: MMDDYY birthdate unless changed during the campus id activation. http://goml.view.usg.edu Class content will NOT be viewable until the first day of classes. To obtain course material or textbook information, please contact your professor(s) directly..

5 What to expect on the first day… All of the online courses on this site are instructor-led. Before classes begin, you will be given access to Georgia VIEW Vista which will be your virtual classroom. Your instructor will provide you with details about the structure of the course, what is expected of you, and any deadlines. In most courses, you will be responsible for studying the course materials, discussing them with your instructor and classmates in the discussion forum, and completing online quizzes and assignments. Some courses contain a variety of multimedia resources including audio and video or interactive simulations. These are not correspondence courses where you are assigned to read a textbook and take an exam. You will be expected to participate and interact with your instructor and your classmates throughout the semester and in return, you can expect to have the support of your instructor and classmates to help you make the most of your online learning experience.
