11. How to turn OFF a computer? 1. Save & close all your programs 2. Press on “Start” button, 3. Click the Power button 4. Click “Turn off” or Choose “Shut down” and click OK 5. Press the Power button of the monitor and the CPU

12. How to OPEN programs? Click on the icon on the desktop OR Go to start > programs

13. How to CLOSE programs? 1. Click on FILE 2. Click on CLOSE/EXIT *Make sure you’ve saved your file before closing it.

14. How to CREATE a word document? 1. Open the Microsoft Word program 2. Click NEW

18. How to access the internet? 1. Open a broswer (Internet Explorer, Moxilla Firefox, or Google Chrome) 2. Type in the address on the address box (ex. www.yahoo.com) 3. Click Enter 4. Wait for the page to load
