Enrollment and Certification
First-Come First-Served PG&E bundled electric customers* are eligible for the program 272 MW program cap, of which 45 MW are reserved for residential customers. Enrollment open until 2019 or until cap is reached, whichever comes first. Once a customer enrolls, he/she may stay on the program beyond this date. 227 MW Unspecified 45 MW Residential Independent Certification PG&E will seek Green-e Energy certification, the nation’s leading voluntary certification program for renewable energy *100% Standby, non-metered service and TBS customers are not eligible to participate. NEM customers will not be eligible initially but will be allowed to participate at a later point in time.

Procurement Incremental, New Solar Projects Special Provisions
In response to customer enrollment, PG&E will issue competitive solicitations for the power and sign long-term contracts for new solar resources within our service area. All program resources are above and beyond PG&E’s renewables portfolio requirements. Special Provisions Independent of customer enrollment, 50 MW of solar resources will be under contract by February 2016 in accordance with CPUC advance procurement goal. 272 MW Total

Community Solar Choice Features
Deliveries from Day 1 Prior to new projects coming online, participants to be served by solar resources from PG&E’s Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) program. These deliveries will not be counted towards PG&E’s RPS. Local Project Development Projects will be solicited in the communities with the highest level of enrollment, and elsewhere as demand warrants.

Local Solar Choice Features
Customer-Developer Agreement (CDA) Customers within the same county or 10 miles of a Local Solar Choice project can contract for a share of the project’s output (e.g., customers pay $X for X kW). Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) PG&E off-takes all energy output (kWh) from the system. PG&E pays the developer for unsubscribed energy only. PG&E Tariff Participating customers receive a PG&E bill credit aligning with the output of the subscribed portion of the local solar project. “My piece of the project”
