www.ihe.net 3 DS-IP-LVP Containment Model VMDs are paired with technology-specific delivery channels Source Channels package semantics that define / drive the behavior of a Delivery Channel Multiple source channels can be active at any point in time.

www.ihe.net 4 DS-IP-Syringe Containment Model Syringe-specific parameters are contained in the Syringe Delivery Channel Source Channels are the same as those available for LVP Delivery Channels

www.ihe.net 5 DS-IP-LVP-PCA Model PCA specific parameters are packaged in a PCA Source Channel PCA Source Channel can be combined with other Source Channels as needed PCA Source Channel can be combined with any Delivery Channel (LVP or Syringe) PCA Source Channels may operate exclusively, sequentially or concurrently with one or more other Source Channels.
