5  What does rebranding mean?  Changing the perception of a place  Regeneration?  The physical act of improving an area (demolition, rebuilding etc)  Reimaging?  Changing the standing of a place by very specific improvements eg a centre of sporting excellence Rebranding Places

6  Think of the different ways that a place could rebrand itself…..  Sport, leisure, gambling, business, shopping, heritage, culture  Rebranding a seaside town……it can’t be that hard….can it? So how could a place rebrand?

11  Slough has had some regeneration – you need to rebrand it  Produce a short presentation on Keynote to show how you would rebrand Slough  Think about attributes that you could focus on as positives (go on, try!)  Include a catchy sentence to go with a campaign…… Your challenge…..
