Know what you want to accomplish. Set a goal for yourself.
3
What do you want people to say about you during graduation speeches? What kind of student do you want teachers to remember you as?
5
Be proactive, and put forth your best effort to achieve your goals and dreams.
6
Help you set goals for yourself. Allow you to always know our grades. Show your parents how you’re doing.
7
Promises that you, your family, and your teacher will all work towards one goal…YOU REACHING YOUR HIGH POTENTIAL! Read Student Pledge and sign your name. Tonight’s homework: Have your mother, father, or responsible family member sign the family pledge.
8
Think about a specific area you can improve in each subject. This is NOT for a grade or number goal. For example, you may want to improve your multiplication facts in math, use more interesting verbs in your writing, or read with more expression. This is a PERSONAL goal to be shared with family and teachers, and it shouldn’t matter what your friends are writing.
9
Record your grades each time you receive a test. Follow the directions for each subject. Share your tests and data folder with your family!
10
Think about what grades you had in your subjects last year. Decide what grade you’d like to get in each subject this trimester. Carefully draw a red line across the graph at that spot. Every other week, during Core Extension, you’ll figure out your grades. Then you’ll graph them on the charts.

This stays in the front pocket of your binder. It NEVER gets jammed in your desk or left at home! It’s your responsibility to keep it neat and up- to-date.
