Statement of Purpose/Roles and Responsibilities Boyd ISD Board policy is located on line at http://www.tasb.org/policy/pol/private/249902/ http://www.tasb.org/policy/pol/private/249902/ The specific policy that governs this committee is BQA, both local and legal. In compliance with Education Code 11.251, the District-Level Committee shall Advise Superintendent on establishing and reviewing the District's educational goals and objectives, District wide classroom instructional programs Serve exclusively in an advisory role Approve staff development of a District wide nature.

Guidelines District’s must publish in the format provided by the TEA the district’s Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) in conjunction with Campus Performance Objectives, Report of violent or criminal incidents, and information received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for each high school campus.

Staff Development Survey To help plan the staff development calendar for the 2015-2016 school year we have gotten feedback regarding the staff development schedule for this school year. These are the results:

December Meeting Let’s schedule a meeting for December where we will discuss 2014 District TAPR, Highly Qualified Report, and distribution of the Staff Development survey.
