2 What are Ducks? Ducks are a type of bird.
They have webbed feet to help them be good swimmers.

3 How does a duck talk? Ducks use their bill to talk to one another.
Ducks quack to each other as a way of talking.

4 Baby Ducks A momma duck normally lays between 5 to 12 eggs
In about 28 days the eggs hatch and little ducklings are born!

5 What are feathers used for?
A duck has 2 layers of feathers. The top layer of feathers are water-proof that helps the duck stay dry in the water. The second layer helps the duck stay warm, just like a coat!

6 What do ducks eat? Ducks eat many different things.
They eat small fish, snails, grass, seaweed, and even bugs!

7 Where do ducks live? Ducks love the water so you can find ducks around lakes, rivers, ponds and even oceans. During the winter ducks normally fly to a place that is warmer, then in the spring they fly back home to lay their eggs.

8 How do ducks fly? Ducks fly by using their powerful wings.

9 Is it a boy or a girl? Boy ducks normally have brighter colors than female ducks. Girl ducks lay eggs and sits on them to keep them warm. boy duck girl duck
