3 “The Land Use Committee exists to improve the quality of life in Lake Highlands through strategic thought, planning, education and advice to the Lake Highlands community…” goals  Understand the needs and desires of the community as they relate to land use and development.  Develop strategies for desirable land use and development that will support Lake Highlands as a high-quality, sustainable community, in coordination with the District 10 Strategic Plan.  Communicate the work of the Committee to gain the support of Lake Highlands residents and other stakeholders.  Promote the implementation of the land use and development strategy through community and civic involvement.
