What is Agriculture? Agriculture is also called farming is the cultivation of animals, plants, and other life forms for food, and other products used to sustain human life. The climate of Tennessee is good for crop growth. Cattle and calves are Tennessee’s most important agricultural products Tennessee’s biggest crop is soybeans

Cotton Cotton is extremely useful and important. What do we use cotton for?

Bath towels, socks, underwear, shirts, sweaters, t-shirts, and jeans. Also- fishnets, coffee filters, tents, and book binding

Corn Corn is also called “maiz” by most countries. As well as being eaten by the cob, corn is also processed and used as a major component in many food items like cereals, peanut butter, potato chips, soups, marshmellows, ice cream, baby food, cooking oil, margarine, mayonnaise, salad dressing, and chewing gum

Tobacco Tobacco plants grow five to seven feet tall.

Greenhouse/ Nursey A nursery is designed for the preparation and care of young plants. Often, it contains one or more large greenhouses, which helps shelter new plants from frosts or excessive heat. Can you think of any near your house?
