3. Definition Connectivism is described by George Siemens as a learning paradigm of the 21 st century. He defines this theory as a learning theory for the digital age. According to Siemens (2004), “Connectivism presents a model of learning that acknowledges the tectonic shifts in society where learning is no longer an internal, individualistic activity ”.
