Organization of the Program Strong Points Availability of technnology necessary in the learning process; Exposure to actual library settings and applications, as well as encounters with library heads and librarians.
4
Organization of the Program Weak Points 1. Scheduling of classes does not provide continuity of the lessons; and there are too many free days which could have been used for more lectures and exercises. Recommendations: Have a straight schedule for each topic/content. Free days should be scheduled at the end of each topic/content and only when home assignments are further needed for outputs. 2.Evaluation of class participation and progress is very general. Recommendations: Closely evaluate class participation and progress as per individual and not as a group. Individual outputs should be consolidated and displayed at the end of the program before the Committee.

Academic Components of the Program Relevant and appropriate components Actual exercises and applications of free library softwares and other open sources of information, such as CDS/ISIS, Greenstone, Web 2.O; Practical lectures and exercises on web pages, internet searching, ISBDs and other standards, scientific information, indexes, statistics, and informetrics.
