17 How can Principals support Asia Literacy in their schools? Whole school curriculum audit. Where can Studies of Asia fit in? Yearly Asia Day events Encourage teachers and schools to be involved as a BRIDGE partnership school Access resources provided by the AEF and successful partnership wikis for staff to utilise for professional development and sharing of curriculum ideas Allow SKYPE access so that schools can connect via video links in real time Connect with local schools – share resources/ideas Document your BRIDGE partnership (legacy) Establish a sister school agreement demonstrating commitment to your partnership (MOU) Be involved – attend a study tour Be open to suggestions, talk through issues/concerns and communicate regularly. Plan together and with purpose.

18 Where to from now? Plan and Co-ordinate future student & teacher exchanges with MIN Cempaka Putih Aim to sell collaborative book to raise funds for student exchange programs beyond 2014 Continue to work collaboratively on shared sister school projects & SKYPE shared culture lessons eg. Angklung playing, traditional dancing Work on our collaborative project idea for 2014 – Angklung orchestra - CD project
