10 Driver SN754410 (Quadruple Half-H Driver) Half-H is a variation of the solid-state H-Bridge circuit that uses only two transistors on one side of the load Designed to provide bidirectional drive currents up to 1A at voltages from 4.5V to 36V Designed to drive inductive loads (device with coils of wire using magnetic fields to operate), in our case, a bipolar stepper motor

12 Arduino Uno 14 digital I/O pins and 6 analog inputs The operating voltage is 5V Recommended input voltage ranges from 7V to 12V

13 LED Light Bar Include 3 high-output LEDs powered by 12V DC. Each LED absorbs approximately 30mA Dimensions: 3.08” x 0.59” (78 x 15 mm)- Problems It Caused External 12V power source was needed to power these

14 16x2 Character Display Low power operation support (2.7V to 5.5V) Dimensions: 3.15” x 1.425” Characters are generated by dot character patterns from 8-bit character codes -Problems It Caused A potentiometer was needed to adjust the contrast of the screen The LCD screen did not come with I/O pins to connect the screen to a breadboard, thus we soldered on 11 I/O pins in order to interface with it

15 Mini push buttons This is a single pole, single throw (SPST) switch which means the switch has one pair of contacts (two conductive pieces that touch to complete the circuit) that can either be closed or open The rated current is 50 mA -Problems It Caused The buttons did not stay put on the breadboard well, therefore we adjusted the pins with needle-nose pliers

16 Voltage Regulator Used to drop the voltage to 3V to run the motor There are premade Voltage Regulators available in a Variety of voltages such as 3,5,7,9,12 Volts commonly Found in different electronic devices
